Yolanda A. Watson was born September 13, 1955 to parents Elbert D White and Ella Louise Glass in Pinal, AZ. She is the Second youngest girl. Born to 13 siblings.

She is preceded in death by her brothers Sonny White, Walter White, Johnny White. And by her sister Ivory Goliday.

She is survived by siblings Nathanial White, Delbert White, Dwight “Blue” White, Sarah Harris, Scotty “Doc Bombay” White, and Dottie Richardson.

Yolanda graduated at 17 from San Bernardino H.S. In San Bernardino, CA where she met and married Tyrone Watson in the USAF. They remained married for 33 years before divorcing and remaining great friends until her death.

Yolanda has 3 children Demeshia M. Watson (2012), Tyrone Watson Jr (s. Gisela Watson), and Takaya Watson. And two adopted children Daquawn and Nana. She is survived by 8 of her nine grandchildren children. Alfie J. Green(2009), Taniya Woodard, Kobe J. Watson, Devyn Woodard (spouse Alexis Gonzalez Woodard), Miguel Ortiz (s. Delmi Trochez child Azula Ortiz), Keyshaun Ortiz. And one great granddaughter Azula Ortiz.

She had a deep and profound relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was ordained a Deaconess in home church of Greater Bethal Missionary Baptist Church led by her brother Bishop Nathanial C. White. 

She loved being a mother, friend and grandmother and great grandmother with all her heart. Seeing her children and grandchildren grow up and succeed was her greatest gift and seeing her first great granddaughter was priceless.
