Willie Henry Pryor Sr.

Willie Henry Pryor, 89, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on May 9, 2022 in San Antonio.

Willie Henry Pryor was born in Tunstall, Virginia to Isham Pryor and Mary Pryor on Jan. 3, 1933. He attened Armstrong High School in Richmond, Virginia. He married Edith Pleasant on March 1, 1957 at Moore Street Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the U.S. Air Force for 26 years. He was awarded The Air Force Commendation Medal, The Air Force Good Conduct Medal and The Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon. After retirement from the military, he worked as a HVAC Technician at Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital for 20 years. He also enjoyed participating in the San Antonio Police Department Cellular On Patrol (COP) program in his community.

Willie Henry Pryor is preceded in death by his parents Isham and Mary Pryor, wife Edith Mae Pryor, son Eric Cameron and brother James Pryor.

Willie Henry Pryor is survived by his sons and daughter-in-laws, Willie H. Pryor, Jr, Gregory and Patricia Pryor, David and Daphne Pryor, Kelvin Pryor, Jason and Josephine Pryor, his daughters Vicki Pryor, Kathy Pryor and Myra Pryor. He leaves behind grandchildren, Ashlee Pryor-Pitluk and Mason Pitluk, Nick Rodriguez, David Michael Pryor, Sidney Pryor, Lenore Pryor, Gregory-Patric Pryor, Alexandria I. Pryor, Jaydon Pryor, Simone Pryor and great-grandchild Olivia Pryor-Wright.
