TIMOTHY HOLLOWAY Obituary

Timothy Gerard Holloway was born to Dorothy Holloway on March 19, 1970 in Cameron, TX.  He was raised by his loving mother and grandparents and attended elementary, middle, and high school in Cameron, TX. He graduated from C.H Yoe High School in 1989.

Timothy had many accomplishments throughout his lifetime. After graduating high school, he went to Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, TX where he played college basketball. He was a star player, breaking records in years 1989-1990. He later graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Timothy recently went back to school, and was only within two courses of completing his Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Wayland Baptist University.

Professionally, Timothy led a successful career in the Criminal Justice field. His positions included Probation Officer, Juvenile Case Manager, and most recently Court Manager of the Magistrate Office for the City of San Antonio. He was the manager of approximately 22 staff members and was well liked and respected by each of them, as well as the city judges. He took the utmost pride in his work and received numerous employee recognition and community service awards, to include: Employee of the Year for Bexar County Probation and Recipient of the City of San Antonio Core Values Professionalism Award.

In March 2014, Timothy married Nichole Roberts (Holloway). He immediately stepped in and became a wonderful father to her daughter Courtney. Family meant everything to Timothy. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. There wasn't anything Timothy wouldn't do for his family.

Timothy was an ordained licensed minister of Revelations in Christ Ministries. Outreach and spreading the love of Christ were the core purposes of his ministry and he took every opportunity to help others build a relationship with Christ. He was a man of unwavering faith and a true believer of God's word.

Timothy is survived by his wife, Nichole Roberts-Holloway, daughter, Courtney Roberts, mother, Dorothy Holloway, sister, Ashley Hill-Simmons (Robert Simmons), first cousin, Demetrial (Shon) Holloway and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Horace and Mary Cavanaugh, aunt, Linda Cavanaugh and uncle, Willie Holloway Jr.

Timothy's legacy will live on forever. His life was based in faith, family, love and the Kingdom of God. He had a special place in his heart for youth and mentoring young men. The Timothy G. Holloway Scholarship Fund will be created in his honor. This scholarship will assist young men that are college bound with books, materials and other essentials.
