Sandra Kay Johnson, affectionately known as Kay Kay by her nieces and nephews, had a quiet loving demeanor and was treasured and adored by all she came in contact with. She had a conservative spirit and would continuously take time to listen. That spirit led her to unite with Charles Johnson and they married in 2008. Her smile, laughter and humor will be sorely missed.
Sandra was born on September 26th, 1949 to Charles Henry McPherson and Agnes Annette Ramsey in San Antonio, TX. Sandra accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church and later moved her membership to Greater Corinth Baptist Church where she faithfully served as an Usher and Girl Scout Troop Leader. She attended school within the San Antonio Independent School District and in 1967 became a graduate of George W. Brackenridge High School. Sandra then attended St. Philips College where she received her Associates of Arts Degree in Business.
Over the years, Sandra was employed by various private commercial insurance companies, The David Robinson Carver Academy and retried from the San Antonio Independent School District.
