ROYLEE HARDAWAY

RoyLee Hardaway, 84 of Gonzales, Texas passed away on October 6, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas.  RoyLee Hardaway was born in Gonzales, Texas on November 17, 1936 to Henry and Lillian Hardaway.  He moved to Lubbock, Texas where he married Ruby Nell Hancock in July 1957, within this union two children were born.  Through the years he embraced six additional children.

RoyLee worked for Union 583 as a construction laborer in San Mateo, California until his retirement due to a medical disability.  He moved back to Texas in 1983.

RoyLee is survived by his children Alice Bailey-Stewart of San Antonio, TX; Darry Hardaway of San Francisco, CA; Gregory Hardaway (Danielle) of San Antonio, TX; Sabrina Hardaway of New York City, NY; Rory Hardaway of Sacramento, CA; Robert Hardaway of Trinity, TX; Katherine Hardaway (Richard) of Atwater, CA; and Dominique Hardaway of Dallas, TX; one sister Nettie Eva Lindsey of San Antonio, TX; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, great nephews, and friends.
