Mattie Greathouse

Mattie Pearl Greathouse was born August 30, 1932, to James & Emma Wallace. She was raised in Shiner, Texas and converted at an early age. She attended public school in Shiner, Texas. Mattie married and relocated to San Antonio, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, James & Emma Wallace, husband Uluis Greathouse, three sisters Mignon Ratcliffe, Berneice Gibbons, Dorothy Love, and two brothers Calvin Wallace and Floyd Wallace.
Mattie shall be remembered in the hearts of her children, Clarice Reed, Mary Roberson, Uluis Greathouse Jr. (Annie Greathouse), Anita Jean Edwards, and Ulean Henry. Five grandchildren: Phillip (Jenniqua), Patrice (Damien), Elbert James Roberson, Dana Henry, Maverick Henry, twelve great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
She devoted her time to her loving family, friends, and also her fellowman with a caring and generous heart.
Mattie was a very loving and caring person always ready to help anyone in need. She was also a dedicated wife, mother, sister, and friend. She will be missed by everyone.
