MIKE R. RODRIGUEZ

On July 23,2020 Mike Ruben Rodriguez answered the Lords call to come home. Mike was born on October 2, 1949 to Manuel Rodriguez and Esther Rodriguez. Mike received his formal education at  Brechenridge  High School and at the age of 17 he joined the U.S. Army. While serving in the Army he received the National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 1 Silver Star and 3 Bronze Stars, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross, Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, as well as his parachute and expert rifle badges. 

Mike married Sandra Dunkin on June 18, 1988 and was happily married for 32 years. He retired from Ft. Sam and took up wood working as a hobby. He also published a book and filed a patent for an invention. He was very loved by his family and all his grandchildren.
