MICHAEL LYNN WILLIAMS

Mr. Michael Lynn Williams (66) gained his wings on Saturday, February 20 in San Antonio, TX . He was born February 25, 1954 to Roy and Ralstine Williams both of whom preceded him in death (deceased 2018 and 1994). He was the 3rd eldest of four (4) children: Oliver Williams (deceased 1999), Ronnie Williams (deceased 2018), and Kathy Williams Henderson. He grew up and attended school in the neighborhood formerly known as "Denver Heights". He attended Cuney Elementary, Edgar Allen Poe Middle School and graduated from Brackenridge High School - Class of 1972. He loved baseball during his middle and high school years and was very active and competitive! He also was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev G. C. Coleman and Rev. Ruben Archield, Sr.

Shortly after graduation, he moved to Houston, T X to attend the University of Houston. His son, Royce Lynndell Evans, was born January 7, 1978. In 1979, he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. While in Houston, he worked for large companies such as Southwestern Bell and Exxon.

In 1982, he moved backed to San Antonio working various jobs to properly provide for Royce. He worked diligently all his life. In October 2019, he married Ms. Yolanda Lightning. In February 2020, he retired from San Antonio Water Systems (SAWS). On August 21, 2020, his first grandson was born - Zion Lynndell Garcia-Evans. He was a proud GRANDPAW!!! He had waited for this his whole life and the spoiling began!

He loved fishing, cruising, or just being on the water somewhere! His plan for retirement was to purchase a "large trailer", hitch it to his "large truck (Dodge RAM 2500), and just travel. But God had other plans.

He leaves the following family members: Yolanda Williams (wife), Royce Evans (son), Zion Evans (grandson), Kathy Williams Henderson (sister), Parthenia Jones (sister) and a host of nephews, great nephews, nieces, great nieces, cousins, and a host of friends
