Lucille Williams was born on November 17, 1930 to Fred Simpson and Cora Stowers in Pittsburgh, PA.
Lucille worked for San Antonio ISD for many years, until her retirement in 1990.
She was married for 63 years to Leon Williams. During this time she was a faithful member of Frienship Baptist Church. Here she served as a member of the usher board, deacon’s wives, and women’s choir. Lucille enjoyed baking, arts and crafts, shopping, and reading a good mystery. Although it hurts, and many tears have been shed, we have many great memories of the time we’ve spent with our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband. She is survived by her six children Erma, Debra (Gregory), Lionel Bernard (deceased), Leon (Seiko), Norma Jean, and Carol; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren as well as a host of family and friends.
We don’t say goodbye, but until we meet again.
