Louise Marie "Woman" was born on February 14, 1932 to Leroy Green and Mary Bell Reese in Elgin, Texas.
Louise accepted Christ at an early age. Louise married Earlie O. Jones on October 4, 1948 in George Town, Texas to this union four children were born: Betty L.,Earle O. Jr., Lorenzo and Danny.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Lorenzo, siblings: sisters, Cora Lee,Ruby Ann, Bobby Jewel, Dorothy Mae and brothers, Odis J. and O.W. Sr., and grandson Stephen Mark.
Louise has left to cherish her being the matriarch of the Green and Collins families. Her devoted daughter Betty Joshua,(San Antonio) sons Earle O. Sr (Los Angeles)and Danny Jones (San Antonio). Sister Gladys Brown (Houston). Sister-n- Laws: Dorothy Jones (Austin), Lessie Jones (San Antonio and Betty Jones (Portland,OR),Grand children: Stephanie Love, Andre' and Andrea Underwood (San Antonio). Larenza Jones and Quchette Bowens (Mid-West City Oklahoma). Great Grand children: Shakemiah Johnson (Jenerette), Alexis Ferris (Ft. Worth) Marquita (Killeen), Ja Mare (Austin) and Kyelah Mason (San Antonio) Brieyannah, Cornisha, Deonjae.Thais, Breshawnae Underwood and William Banks (San Antonio). Louise was a devoted Christian and joined Calvary Baptist Church over 30 years ago.When she became disabled and unable to participate in church duties and activities following several surgeries confining her to home she enjoyed the many visits from Rev. Willie Harper to offer her prayer and communion. Spiritual pamphlets and cards of encourgment received monthly from the church.
Louise fought a "good" fight God heard her prayers to end her suffering and longing for peace and rest. She is now rejoicing and reunited with Big Moma, her love of 50 years (Earlie O.) her son (Lorenzo) grand-son (Steve) and her siblings that preceded her.
