LORRAINE CLOUD

Lorraine Cloud was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to late Mr. David T. Cloud, Sr. and the late Mrs. Hattie Cloud on January 21, 1970.  Lorraine graduated from Roy Miller High School 1988 in Corpus Christi, Texas.  She accepted our Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member at the Windsor Park Church of Christ Corpus Christi, Texas where she attended during her childhood and adult life.    

Lorraine Cloud is preceded in death by her parents; Mr. David T. Cloud, Sr. and Mrs. Hattie Cloud; Brothers; David T. Cloud, Jr. and Marion Cloud, Sr.

Lorraine Cloud is survived by a sister; Mary Ann Cloud; Brothers; Bobby Cloud (Estella) John Cloud (Donna) and a hosts of nieces and nephews.

Lorraine's story with our Mother: 

Lorraine was very blessed to have a very close relationship with our mother. We are not silent about my sister having mental illness, her teen-age years is when this illness became a challenge. She had many  psychiatric hospitalizations .By God's good grace she managed to remain on track with her studies in high school. Graduating from high school was very important to her. Lorraine was a very articulate and bright young lady but this illness interfered with her learning abilities. When Lorraine was stable with medications, she and my mother enjoyed shopping, attending church and basically doing everything together. My mother was blessed not to have to work outside the home which gave her the opportunity to take care of Lorraine until her passing. After mom's passing, Lorraine had a mental breakdown and was admitted to the San Antonio State Hospital. Upon dismissal she did not care to live in Corpus Christi any longer so she was placed in a Group Home in San Antonio which provided a stable home for her for almost 14 years. Lorraine continued to live in San Antonio until her passing.
