LEOLA DIAMOND Obituary

Beloved mother and grandmother, Leola was called home by our Lord and savior on October 27, 2019 at the wonderful age of ninety-one. "Snook," as she was known early on, was born in Mobile, Alabama on February 7,1928 to Henderson and Marie Anderson.


Leola was a devoted mother who will be fondly remembered for her love of family. She was a product of the Mobile County public school system. Leola attended The Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic school during her early years. She transferred to Mobile County Training High school where she then graduated high school. After high school she worked in the public sector in Mobile.


Leola married her high school sweetheart Albert Glover. From this union, they had one son, Stephen Glover. After their divorce, she returned to work in the public sector in Mobile and met George W. Diamond and from this marriage they had seven children. She was preceded in death by her husband George W. Diamond Sr. and son George W. Diamond Jr. and her grandson Thaddeus Diamond.


She is survived by son Stephen Glover and wife Linda, daughters Vivian Diamond, Carolyn Diamond, Mona Diamond. Her sons are Dennis Diamond, Michael Diamond John "Santana" Diamond along with grandchildren Rayford Diamond, Brennen Diamond, Dennis Diamond, Corey Diamond, Michael Diamond Jr. Monique Diamond, Tia D. Glover
