JIMMIE JOYCE JONES

Our beloved Jimmie Joyce Jones was born April 18th 1943. She met her sweetheart in high school and married John W. Jones Sr. shortly after she graduated. They would go on to have a union for 60 years and they had 3 children John W. Jones Jr., Eric Eugene Jones (deceased) and Deborah Willena Jones. She has 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Jimmie was voted best cook and baker in San Antonio by SAISD (and by her husband.)  She worked many years at the Medical Center Hospital then later Highlands High School. Many still request her dinner roll recipe to this day. She loved Calvary Baptist Church and participated on the Usher Board, Deaconess and was a Sunday School teacher. 

Jimmie's faith and counsel has helped many people. Her smile and hugs will be missed dearly.
