Henry Lamon Columbus Jr., 55, was called home to be with the Lord on July 8, 2018. He was born on October 27, 1962 to Henry and Rosetta Columbus in San Antonio, Texas.
Henry may have been a complicated man who few people truly understood however. those that knew him saw him for who he truly was. He worked in plumbing sales for most of his career. He could be stubborn, hard headed, independent, resilient, and a fighter. Henry was a great provider for his family. He was a giving person, and always willing to help anyone in need. A father who dearly loved his children, and was always proud of all their accomplishments. His favorite pastime was being with the ones he loved most: family and friends, barbecuing, listening to music, and playing dominoes.
He was preceded in death by his father Henry Columbus, his grandfather Robert Columbus Sr., his grandmother Rosie Lee Lewis, his uncles Robert Tyrone Williams, Arthur Butler Jr. (Uncle Putt), Delaney Butler (Uncle Peanut), Robert Columbus Jr., and Sonny Columbus
Henry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and grandson. He is survived by his wife Licia of 36 years. His three children: Jason, Brittany, and Wittany. His daughter in law April. His three grandchildren Deion, Jaidyn, and Braylon. His mother Rosetta Columbus, his grandmother Idessa Columbus, and two brothers: Donnie and Reggie Columbus. As well as, a host of aunts uncles, cousins and friends.
