Eugene Autry Jr life’s journey began July 23, 1953 in Mobile, Alabama. He was he first born to the late Eugene and Geneva Autry.
Eugene confessed Christ at an early age and united at Martin Luther Lutheran Church. He started his primary education at MartinLuther Lutheran School and attended Dunbar Junior High School prior to moving to San Antonio, Texas. In 1967 the family moved to San Antonio, Texas after Eugene Autry Sr. was transferred from Brookley AFB in to Kelly AFB. Upon arrival to San Antonio he united with Holy Cross Lutheran Church. He attended Jefferson Davis Middle School, Sam Houston High School, and graduated from St Peter Claver Catholic School in 1971. Eugene began his career at Turbine Support, which later closed, and had to move on to other endeavors. He continued his career working for JB Hunt, Harold Allen and Interim Healthcare. He had to end his career early due to his disability. Even though he was not able to workanymore he did not give up. He kept going and did it his way.
Eugene was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Geneva Autry. He leave to cherish his memories Sisters Fannie Royal, Sandra
(Albert) Thompson, Brother Rodney (Donna) Autry all of San Antonio, Texas. Four nephews Glenn (Kendra) Royal, Mychal Thompson,
Alexander Autry, Donovan Anderson all of San Antonio, Texas. Two Nieces Bridney Autry, San Antonio, Texas and Tailaia Autry, Houston,
Texas. Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Great Nieces and Nephews, One devoted friend Donald Smothers and other loving relatives and friends.
