Dana Louise Wallace was born November 4, 1951 in Gonzales, Texas, to the late Varance S. Wallace and Blanch Humphrey Wallace. She was called to rest May 9, 2020.
She was baptized at an early age by the late Rev. Phillip Brown, Sr. of Macedonia Baptist Church in Aransas Pass, Texas, where she sang in the choir.
She graduated from Gonzales High School in May, 1972. She worked as a spokesperson for battered women.
She is preceded in death by two brother: Varance S. Wallace, Jr. and Norman Wallace, Sr.; Grandparents: Cecelia Dora Miller, R.P. Miller, Jr., and Doris Wallace; Step-father, Charles Murray; Grandson, Andrew L. Morgan; Great grandmother, Gertrude Dora.
She leaves to mourn: her only son, Detrick Wallace of San Antonio, Texas; her mother, Blanch H. Wallace of Gonzales, Texas; two sisters: Cora Mae Wallace of Gonzales, Texas and Sheila Stephens (Mark) of San Antonio, Texas; Special aunt, Sylvia Wright (Ginnie) of San Antonio, Texas; Special uncle, R.P. Miller, III (Boy) of San Antonio, Texas; Grandchildren: Phillip Morgan, Zachary T. Wilson, Christian S. Jones, Brittany N. Pena, Mariah C. Wallace, Dezric A. Morgan. Carissa Morgan, Dara H. Morgan and Detrick A. Harris.
