CLYDE POWERS, JR.

Clyde Powers Jr was born on July 3rd, 1944, in Detroit Michigan to Clyde and Beatrice Powers. When Clyde was 17 he joined USAF to pursue his dream of working on airplanes. While in USAF Clyde started to work on airplane engines and began his dream as an airplane technician. 

Stationed in the Philippines Clyde marries Ma.Zellah Dumon. Clyde and Ma.Zellah had their first child October 30, 1976, named Abebe Dumon Powers, their second child was born on November 2nd, 1980, named Joule Dumon Powers.

After 20 years with USAF Clyde retired in Fairfield Ca. Where he was stationed at Travis Airforce Base. Retired Clyde went to work for United airlines in San Francisco CA.
Clyde enjoyed being by water, he became a very skilled and dedicated fisherman, and also a licensed scuba diver. Clyde was always eager to learn new things, always on his computer reading and learning.

In 2017, Clyde moved to San Antonio Texas to purchase a home and to be closer to family. His nephew Kerry and niece Kelly Alexander help him find a beautiful home in Converse TX close to each other.

Clyde will be forever missed, and never forgotten. Abebe and Joule Powers, granddaughter Jayana Powers, brothers Howard,Cedric, and Nolan Powers. Sisters Diane Garner, Evelyn-Hale-Taylor, Janet Murlone, Libby Strimpel. Nephews Darren Powers, Kelly Alexander, Victor Brown, Jeffery Brown, Wayman Brown, Sean Powers, Albert (yogi) Murlone, Nolan Powers Jr. Nieces Kelly Alexander, Alvis(bug) Powers, Terry Brown, Tammi Bacon, Mykel Brown, Kimberlea Dungy, Angela Powers, Jameila Powers

Clyde Powers Jr was a very loving man and he will always be cherished loved and missed. REST IN PARADISE
