Clarence Clay Felder, 73, was born on February 20,1947 in Orangeburg, South Carolina to the late Julius and Bertha Felder. On, Monday, March 16, 2020 due to health complications God called him from his earthly home.
He attended Asbury Park High School, in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Immediately after graduation he joined the United States Air Force and served four years. After his Military service he chose to make San Antonio, Texas his home.
Bro. Felder attended Southwestern University in San Marcos and received his Bachelor's Degree. He was a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. He later received his J.D of Law Degree from St. Mary's University. He was a licensed Certified Public Accountant, a member of the Elks Club, and a St. Phillips College Professor.
He confessed his faith in Christ at an early age and at the time of his death, was a Model Usher, and faithful member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church under the leadership of Senior Pastor and Founder Jeffrey A. Garner.
In 1968 he married Sewilla Godley, and to this union two daughters were born. He is survived by his daughters: Felicia FelderHutson of Cheltenham, Philadelphia, Tanya (Ray) Howard of San Antonio, three granddaughters, two grandsons, and a host of friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his only sibling, Julius Felder, Jr.
