BRIGDELL GRADY BURKS

Brigdell (Dell) Grady Burks, June 6, 1969 - May 1, 2023 was born in Los Angeles California to Raif Lee & Lorraine Clothilde Burks. Dell attended elementary at St. Michael's Catholic and high school at Westchester in Los Angeles California. He graduated from Maplewood high school in Nashville Tennessee.

Dell was a jack of all trades. He was a warehouse worker, a laborer, an x-ray tube assembler, a forklift operator, and an "entrepreneur". Dell loved his football and basketball.  He had a love for music and always had a smile on his face. Most of all he loved his family.

Dell is preceded in death by his grandparents Francis Preston Hicks Burks and Jasper Allen Burks, Aunt Robbie Hicks Johnson, Aunt Jean Hicks Lewis, Uncle Ernest Hicks, Uncle Grady Hicks, Aunt Helen Hicks Howard, and special cousin Veronica (Ronnie) Moore Brandon.

Dell is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 20 years Diona Wilson-Burks, his beautiful daughter Anniyah Brianna Burks, brother Cornell Lee (Kristen), his adoring mother Lorraine Burks Lee, Aunt Bernice Burks Sessions (Bill), Uncle Charles Hicks, Aunt Mildred Lee and Aunt Audrey Lee Anderson. He has left to cherish his memory many, many, cousins, family and friends.
