Mrs. Betty Jean Washington, age 71, passed away peacefully in her sleep in Huntsville, Alabama on 30, December, 2018. Betty Jean Washington was the fourth child born to Dorothy and Bobbie Holston Sr. born March 19, 1947 in Ogden, Utah.
Betty met the love of her life Thomas L. Washington in Ogden Utah in1966. Betty was a homemaker living in San Antonio, Texas with her daughter and grandson, until moving to Huntsville, Alabama in November to be with her son and his wife and son. Betty was a very loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed showing and teaching her loved ones and friends how to prepare special meals for the holidays.
Her family dedicated this tribute to her. Betty was one-of-the-kind hearted people you could ever met, and she graciously opened her heart to everyone that knew her. Preceded in death by her husband Thomas L. Washington Jr., her father Bobbie and (stepmother) Minnie Holston Sr., (stepfather) Luther and (mother) Dorothy Jackson., (brothers) Roy Holston., Randy Jackson. She leaves to cherish her memory to her son Thomas Lee Washington, III; daughter-in-law, Jacquline A. Washington; her grandson, Thomas L. Washington IV, of Huntsville, Alabama; her daughter Stephania Washington; grandson, Jevon M. Young of San Antonio, Texas; her brother Thomas and (Berna) Holston of Ogden, Utah; her sister Helen Reeves of San Bernardino, California; her brother Bobbie and (Kim) Holston Jr. Elyria, Ohio; her sister Kathy and (Luis) Madere of Ogden, Utah; her sister Sharon Jackson; her brother Rodney Jackson of Ogden, Utah; Debra Lesterick of Ogden; Joyce Cavener of Georgia, and many other loving relative’s and close friends.
