Anthony Smith

"For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith" -2 Timothy 4:6-7 

Anthony Dean Smith was born in San Antonio, TX on December 5, 1959, to the parents of Will E. Smith Sr. and the late Ernestine Harper Smith. 

Anthony attended public school in the San Antonio Independent School District and was a graduate of the Healy Murphy Academy. 

Anthony was baptized at an early age by the late Rev. David Smith, Sr. at Golden Gate Missionary Baptist Church. 

On the evening of Sunday March 11, 2018, God saw Anthony was tired and called him home. He was surrounded by family. 

Anthony was preceded in death by his mother, Ernestine and brothers, Will Jr. and Thomas. 

He leaves to cherish his memories: father, Will Smith Sr.; devoted companion of 36 years, Henry Etta; three children; one grandchild; brother Michael Smith (Destiny); sisters, Gwen Smith, Joyce Ratcliff, Marrol Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends.
