Willard (Bill) Tiller Jr. was born on June 1, 1950 to Florence and Willard Mason Tiller in Fort Lee, Virginia He is preceded in death by his parents and his son.
Bill was married to Comel Tiller for 47 years. Within this union, a son was born. He leaves to cherish his memory: a sister, Debra Brockington (Curtis), two brothers: Terry Tiller (Helen), Louis Tiller (Pat). Six nieces: Ticia Tiller, Terra Smith (Jarrod), Jackie Benjamin, Tammy Tiller, Kendra Peoples and Keeshema Richardson. Four nephews: Terris Ren’e Tiller, Cedric Tiller, Terry Boyd and Antonio Pridget. Multiple great nieces and nephews. Included within the union are Charlotte Harper (Fred) sister-in-law, Arthur Brown (Paula) brother-in-law and Clara Stewart mother-in-law.
Bill was a generous and loving son, husband, father and friend. He taught his family the value of honesty, hard work, and kindness to everyone he met. He believed no one should be allowed to end the day with anger in his/her heart. As a family, all issues occurring during the day, had to be resolved before going to bed.
Bill attended the University of Texas at El Paso, earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Coursework toward an MBA at North Texas State University. He went into retirement after his employment with Lockheed Martin as Chief Technology Officer. During his early years, he was extremely active in the community. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and mentoring young professionals in the technology field. His greatest love was his wife Comel and his greatest accomplishment was ensuring his family felt supported and loved.
