SARAH ANN GARRIS

Sarah Ann Goodman Garris was born on April 29, 1955 in Lafayette Louisiana to Mary Lou Sherman, and to the Late Joseph Irvin Goodman, Step mother Theresa Goodman St. Julien. She was preceded in death by Agnes Goodman, Laurice Goodman, Lilly Mae Zeno. And Host of aunts and Uncles, cousins.

Sarah was raised in Lafayette Louisiana till she was 20years old, than she move to Houston, Texas, were she began her life as a young woman, Sarah started working at St. Luke Hospital as a Pharmacy Tech, for 25 years where she retired from.

Sarah met her Soul Mate, her Love of her Life, her Husband Johnnie Garris. They were married for 42 years, and shared a bond and love that no one could Understand, something so rare. Sarah lived her life the way Sarah wanted to, she had the strength, determination, will power, and self independence that no one could break. Sarah has always done things Sarah’s way and that never changed.

Sarah was an outspoken female, she would always let you know how she felt and did not care what anyone had to say. She was a person that always spoke wisdom, always had a lesson to teach regardless if you wanted to learn or not. Sarah was going to let you know. Sarah had a smile that would brighten up the room.

Sarah is and always will be a Phenomenal Women, with such grace, beauty and style, A Women, Phenomenally, Phenomenal woman, that's Sarah Ann Goodman Garris.

Sarah Leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving Husband Johnnie Garris, her 5 brothers, John Goodman, David Goodman, Michael Goodman Sr, Murphy Goodman Sr, Dwayne Goodman. 2 Sisters, Stacey Goodman Frank, Imunique Ross-Sherman. 3 god children, Maurice Goodman, Joseph Thompson, Monica Goodman.
