On August 28, 1935, Milton Cornelius James Sr. was born one of six brothers to the union of Soloman James and Florestine Condol of New Orleans, LA.
After completing High School Milton enlisted in the Air Force, then transferred to the U.S. Armed Forces April 22, 1957- June 28,1960 where he received an honorable discharge. He then worked and retired from Bell Nap construction company after 20 years.
Milton always welcome you with a warm and loving personality and would sacrifice his last if it meant keeping you safe. His home was always open to anyone, rather it be a day or weeks. You were never unwelcomed. His rules were strict, but his words of wisdom would always give you the comfort to move forward and grow.
He enjoyed playing cards, cowboy movies, country and blues music. Most of all he enjoyed laughing and spending time with family. Milton has always been a fighter, but on April 14th, 2019 the sun has set for him. He will be loved and truly missed.
