MABLE TUCKER Obituary

The beautiful life of Mable Tucker, (Mother Tucker as she was fondly known), began June 6, 1918 as a result of the union of Thomas and Joella Love in Winona Mississippi.  Mable was the second eldest of seven children. Frank, Joella, Rosie, Rachel, Lucille, and Katie. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings; Frank, Joella, Rosie and Katie.

Mother Tucker married Edmond Reese and to this union, Charles Reese was born.   Charles preceded her in death in 1987.  In 1961, the Lord blessed Mother Tucker with a little girl, Debra. Debra’s family was unable to care for her and knew that Mother Tucker would love and nurture her as her own. The two have traveled the world together.

She accepted Christ early in life becoming an Ordained Minister in the Church of God In Christ in the 1950’s.

In her early years she worked at Kraft Foods and J.C. Penny.  Both positions would help her sharpened her work ethic and customer service skills. She would later pass this value down to her children and grandchildren.

During her 100 years of life she visited 13 States and 6 Countries leaving her own unique stamp on all who encountered her.

Mother Tucker became a working member of Redeeming Grace Community Church after moving to Texas with her daughter. Redeeming Grace was the first church she visited and decided that this was home.  Service was the corner stone of her existence.
