On July 15, 1948, a baby boy was born to the union of James Earl Dotson and Delores Dotson in San Antonio, Texas. He was given the name Kenneth Wayne Dotson.
Kenneth attended Douglas Elementary and Phillis Wheatley High School in 1968. He then attended the Baptist Hospital School of Nursing and graduated as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). Kenneth hung up his scrubs and stethoscope and retired from San Antonio State Hospital and Educare after an illustrious career in the medical field spanning 48 years.
Kenneth met and married Nancy Washington and together they were blessed with three children: Renetta and twins, Ronald and Mark. He later met and married Annie Lee Nation and together they were blessed with the joy of one daughter, Pamela.
On July 6, 2018 at 8:30 A.M. out Heavenly Father sent an angel from Heaven to grant Kenneth his eternal crown.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents, three children: Kenji Dotson, Pamela L. Nation, and Ronald W. Dotson; sister, Mary E. Dotson, and brothers: Keith W. Dotson and James T. Payton.
The memories of his life will forever live in the hearts of his wife, Annie L. Nation-Dotson; his children: Renetta D. Perkins (Charles) and Mark A. Dotson; brother, Clement C. Dotson, eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
