Jeremiah ("Jerry") Brooks, 72, of San Antonio, Texas passed away peacefully with his Wife by his side, at the VA Hospital's Community Living Center, San Antonio, on September 29, 2018.
Jeremiah was born in Bowman, SC, the son of William and Lovevina Brooks. His marriage to Beverly Johnson Brooks, his devoted wife and companion for over 20 years, was filled with love, fun, and commitment. They honored their vows with a loving spirit.

He achieved the professional status of Licensed Vocational Nurse. Jeremiah was a devoted, compassionate nurse, employed by Methodist Hospital and several other medical facilities in the San Antonio region. Being an "old school" man, he believed in working as long as he could. His last employment was at Walmart.
Jeremiah loved sharing his amazing life with family and friends. He enjoyed jazz, old school soul, especially Marvin Gaye. He had a passion for karaoke, performing his rendition of Fats Domino’s Blue Monday and others.
