JACK WATSON Obituary

John Henry (Jack) Watson was born on September 10, 1936 to Bennie Watson and Edna Stephens Watson in Waco, Texas. He was baptized at Antioch Baptist Church.

He married Juanice Brown at the young age of 19 and joined the Air Force shortly after. To this union three children were born: Pamela G. Watson, Joy Y. Watson Germany, and Karl V. Watson.

After serving in the Air Force for four years, Jack was honorably discharged. He continued his work as a civil servant at Kelly Air Force Base and later ended his career as a federal investigator for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in the Washington, DC area. Upon his retirement he returned to the San Antonio area to be closer to his family.

In 2004 he married his surviving wife, Margaret Boyd Watson. She was the love of his life. They enjoyed traveling together and spending time with family.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Margaret; children: Pamela Watson, Joy (Lamar) Germany, and Karl Watson; step-daughters: Robin Thompson and Rochelle Thompson; grandchildren: Tynika Watson, Anthony Watson, Danielle Dukes, Javon Dukes, Diamond Haslem, Morgan Germany, Kolin Watson, Kole Watson, Nyeisha Gibson, and Kai Watson; Niece: Sheila Meadows; Nephews: Bennie Wayne Watson and Tony J. Watson, and a
host of other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie Watson and Edna Watson, and his brother, Bennie Watson Jr. His only sister, Essie Singleton, transitioned 3 days after him on September 24, 2018.
