FRANK ALEXANDER HOLMES

Frank Alexander Holmes was born on October 4, 1937 in Winston Salem, North Carolina to Hermon Leon Holmes and Bertha Mae Grier Holmes.

Frank was raised and attended school in The Bronx, New York, and continued his education in Connecticut after retirement from the United States Air force. He was extremely proud of his years of enlistment in the United State Air Force which spanned over 20 years, that of which he spoke of often.

Now at rest, he has been reunited with his father Hermon L. Holmes, his mother, Bertha G. Holmes, his brother Hermon "Leon" Holmes, and his nephew Dewayne C. Holmes.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Almar Holmes, his brother and sister-in-law, Oliver and Denise Holmes of Bridgeport, CT, two daughters, Donnice Hightower of San Antonio TX, and Dawn Holmes of Bridgeport, CT, two step-daughters, Elaine Miller of San Antonio, TX and Tania LeBlanc of Peabody, MA, two stepsons, Tracy Henderson of San Antonio, TX and Tremayne Henderson of Beckley, WV, three grandsons, Judah (Larry Holmes) Yasharahla of Long Beach, California, Jonathan Alexander of San Antonio, TX, and Jacob Chery of Bridgeport, CT, and, one adorable great grandson, Joel N. Alexander, of San Antonio, TX, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, etc that loved him dearly.
