Faye M. Summerfield was born on September 25, 1939 in Houston, Texas to the parents of Mr. Jesse McAllister and Mrs. Louise Myers Kemp.
As you may know, Mrs. Faye Summerfield has the longest tenure of any current employee of University Hospice. She will be remembered for her amazing dedication to our mission, as well as her knowledge and enthusiasm.
Faye was an advocate for the disabled. She provided the finest care or her grandson Jonathon, who had cerebral palsy.
Faye had a passion for her work as a medical technologist. Faye love Tim McGraw and Faith Hill and was a member of their fan club. Faye also enjoyed the Lakers and Kobe Bryant.
Ms. Summerfield is preceded in death by her husband, John Summerfield and grandson, Jonathon Summerfield.
She leaves to cherish her memories: daughters: Bertha R. McCracken and Belinda V. Bradshaw; grandchildren: Jennifer L. Summerfield and Lorn B. Bradshaw; great-granddaughter, Janese R. Summerfield and a host of family and friends.
