DAVONNCE OTRESS GANT

Davonnce Otress Gant entered this earthly life June 13, 1997 in San Antonio, Texas. He was the second of nine children born to the parentage of Donce Gant and Latonia Moore. Latonia later united in matrimony to Chad and they reared their family with love.

Davonnce received his formal education in the public school system graduating from Roosevelt High School, side by side with his sister Tierra, earning his high school diploma. Davonnce soon entered the workforce and always dedicated to any task he began.

Davonnce accepted the Lord into his heart as a young boy and continued his relationship with the Lord through his life. He later joined Christ at Westridge Park First Baptist Church where he remained a member until his demise. Davonnce loved his family and friends and was always a pleasure to be around. Davonnce always kept a smile on his face, which would always light up ones day. He enjoyed family, music, laughter, and gatherings. Many knew Davonnce as "Dizzy". Davonnce had a free spirit and lived his life as a loving son, brother, cousin, friend, father and partner. He will truly be missed. God's garden was missing a flower so he called Davonnce and he answered the call. We loved Davonnce but God loved him best.

Davonnce leaves to cherish his loving memory his parents, Donce Gant and Latonia Jones; step father, Chad Jones; his sisters and two step sisters, Tierra Moore, Ty'Asia Moore, Lyric Gant, Chasidy Jones and Adolizoya Jones; three brothers, Chad Jones, Jr., Elijah Jones, Jeremiah Jones; his daughter, Chantel Marie Gant and her mother, Desi Nicole and a host of other family members, friends and loved ones left in sorrow.
