D'ANGELO LAMONT THOMPSON

D’Angelo Lamont Thompson was born December 30, 1997 to David W., I and Cheryl L. Thompson in San Antonio, Texas. 

He accepted Jesus Christ as his savior at an early age.

D’Angelo known as PePe, Goose Egg, D and Thuthie to his family and friends attended Wilshire Elementary, Driskoll Middle School and Roosevelt High School where he graduated in 2016 with Honors.

D’Angelo was a joyful and fun loving young man.  When he come into the room, he just lights it up.  He loved to hug and rub on you.  D’Angelo participated in many sports with the Special Olympics for many years. But, most of all he enjoyed Bowling.  D’Angelo always made his parents proud.  He loved life and he would be ready to go every time when he heard his mother keys or when she grabbed her purse.  He also would be on the go with his brother David II to the mall, eating and to the park.  D’Angelo left his mark wherever he was and he will always be remembered. 

On March 21st, 2019, God decided to pick one of his beautiful flowers from earth and he chose our son and loved one to add to his beautiful garden in heaven.

He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, David W. and Cheryl Thompson, I, brother; David W. Thompson, II of San Antonio, Texas, sister; Charmaine Thompson of Augusta, Georgia, nephew; Avonia Moss, III, two nieces; Brittany and Aviyah Thompson all from Augusta, Georgia, Grandparents; Robert (Cornelia) McPherson, Philadelphia, PA, Great aunt; Willie Mae Thompson, Austin, Texas, two Great Uncles; Ellis Love and Leroy Gant both of San Antonio, Texas, Eight Aunts; Cheryl, Jeannette (Clifford), Charline (Jeff), Darlene (Mike), Lori (Kenny), Valeria (Anthony), Roxie (Chris) and Crystal, Six uncles; Mark, Darryl, Garlan (Allison), Kenneth, Anthony and Darrell and numerous Cousins.  God Parents; Dennis and Edith Ray.

Proceeding D’Angelo in death is his paternal grandparents; Deacon Leevorn and Josephine Thompson and his maternal grandparents; Burl Kindrick and Virginia Mary McPherson. Uncle; Leevorn (Butch) Thompson.
