Charles Edward Tatum was born to Edith Simpson Raglin and Louis Charles Tatum on May 3, 1945 in Limestone County.
He attended Blackshear School and graduated Class of 1964 from Washington High of Groesbeck, Texas.
He passed away on December 26, 2018 at Providence Hospital.
He was a E-4 in the United States Army and received an Honorable Discharge on November 8, 1972. He was a Combat Medic in the Vietnam War and he received a Bronze Star for Valor.
He worked at Kelly Air Force Base for several years where he received certification and recognition for contributions to his job positions.
He loved being around his family and friends. His favorite sayings were "With God's Love" and "Bless Your Heart".
He was was preceded in death by his father, mother, stepfather, R. 1. Raglin.
He leaves to cherish his memories: daughters, Kimberly Tatum (Frank) Wonzo and her mother Deloris "Bo" Tatum and Dujana Harvey and her mother, Elaine; current wife, Kathleen Washington-Tatum; grandchildren, Jabreel and
Jayden Wonzo; Siblings: Constance Bennett Curvey, Ivory DeWayne (Elaine) Tatum, Jettie L. (Calvin) Greene.
